Political news in Italy

The last week-end there were local elections in Trentino Alto Adige or Sud Tirol as the Germans and Austrians say.

The results show a scary increase by almost 300% of the extreme German speaking right, from 5% to 14.3%. This was noted by all news reports.

Different approach regarding Berlusconi's majority: the news stated that it was the first Italian speaking party. This is correct. They omitted however to point out that it lost 30% of votes going from 11.8% to 8.3% !

What is worse, is that such mis-information comes from the public radio and television, not only from the Berlusconi's owned ones.
