A drop by drop killing of a population, including kids and elderly, over years is a genocide. There is no other word. It was a genocide killing millions of Jews, Roms and others, it is a genocide what Israel is doing to the Palestinian people.
But we are so used to dozens of Palestinians killed by Tsaal, that we do no longer notice it. You have full pages of newspapers talking about a car accident killing a family but only a few lines, if any, about the killing of Palestinians.
So, as of today, I will record here tyhe number of Palestinians killed by Israel on a daily basis. Because Tsaal and Netanyahu and the Israeli government are guilty of genocide and must be judged by the International Court of Justice.
This does not mean being a racist, this is simply Justice. Why would Bashar El Assad be worse than Nethanyahu.
Nb of Palestinians killed Of which nb of children killed

DANGEROUS IDIOTS XXVI : ATLANTA JEWISH TIMES EDITOR
Andrew Adler, owner and publisher of the Atlanta Jewish Time wrote in a recent editorial:
"Three, give the go-ahead for U.S.-based Mossad agents to take out a president deemed unfriendly to Israel in order for the current vice president to take his place, and forcefully dictate that the United States' policy includes its helping the Jewish state obliterate its enemies.
Yes, you read "three" correctly. Order a hit on a president in order to preserve Israel's existence. Think about it. If I have thought of this Tom Clancy-type scenario, don't you think that this almost unfathomable idea has been discussed in Israel's most inner circles?"
The other two options to protect Israel from Hamas and Hezbollah would be: 1. attack Hezbollah and Hamas; 2. "order the destruction of Iran's nuclear facilities at all costs;"
Who is a terrorist? Some Jewish extremists such as Andrew Adler or Mahmoud Abbas?
Take an Adler, add a Gingrich and we are in a real shit. In a way, better for the USA to be isolationists and drop Europe and Israel and the Middle East. The world will be safer.

The fear of fundamentalism in the Mediterranean countries
I am sure that reading the title you immediately understood my reference to the fact that the Arab spring raises more and more concerns about the regimes that succeeded those undemocratic supported for decades by the West to stop Muslim fundamentalists. The failure of such a strategy in Algeria when, in 1991, the elections won democratically by the fundamentalists were canceled starting a decade of civil war, makes western diplomats more cautious but the fear remains.
Indeed these concerns appear more and more justified. As an example, recently, in a Mediterranean country, there were riots because a woman sat in the front of a bus instead of letting men sitting there. And we thought that racism was over after the segregation in public transports ended in the USA. More recently, in that same country, a young girl, 7 years old, has been the daily target of fundamentalists because of her “immodest” dressing going to primary school. a seven year old girl and a bunch of pedophiles, one may think.
Imagine if these fundamentalists get the power what will happen next?
Unfortunately they are already too close to power. These incidents, in fact, happened in Israel and the fundamentalists are Haredim. And we know how much right wing radical Jews influence already Netanyahu government.
A fundamentalist is a fundamentalist, Christian, Jew, Hindu or Muslim. They all have to be fought in the same way. Jews fundamentalists are no better than Muslim fundamentalists. In the same way as Israeli's bomb is no better than a Iranian bomb. Stop being blind and have a flexible morale.

Gingrich is right as usual
So Gingrich, the future US President, is also an historian:
"“Remember, there was no Palestine as a state —(it was) part of the Ottoman Empire. I think we have an invented Palestinian people who are in fact Arabs and historically part of the Arab community and they had the chance to go many places,”
he stated to the Jewsih US radio, that had the nerve to broadcast the interview....
As usual, Gingrich is right as are all the US republican candidates, who shine for their ignorance.
Indeed the word Palestine is only as young as 1150BC (2). Not much younger than the name Israel that appeared around 1205 BC (3) What against America ? or Australia ? or Great Britain ? Are they States ?
Gingrich also seems to forget that Israel is an artificial creation of the XXth century that succeeded the protectorate.
Gingrich also seem to forget that also the Jews had many chances to go many places (has he ever heard about the Jewish diaspora ?)
We are not out of ther mess the Americans continue to create in the world. Cameron could be their best president, isolating them from the rest of the civilized world, i.e. from all the world but the UK...
(1) There seems to be an general agreement on the fact that the word Palestine first appeared on the Egyptian Stele of Mernephat. Apart from a revisionist Zionist blog that in a denial state towards the word Palestine, nobody doubts about the fact that Palestine defines the Middle East area were Palestinians and Israelis now live.

Idiots XIX : There are Jews and Jews
Danger: foreigners.
Many societies try to prevent their members to marry with foreigners. So do the religions. It was (and possibly still is) with the Catholic Church where you needed a permission even to marry an Anglican and the permission was granted upon conditions. It still is in Muslim countries, for women mostly...It was and still is in Japan where even Japanese born abroad are considered half Japanese and looked at with suspicion. Then there is the day to day racism against whites who have children with blacks (you do not have the same in the case of Asians...). And so on and so forth.
But it is even worse for Jews, according to the recent ads campaign launched by the Israeli authorities towards American Jews. To be a good Jew, you must live in Israel.
"Under the slogan "It's time to return to Israel", the campaign suggested that expatriate Israelis and their children were at risk of losing touch with their Jewish roots and of being assimilated into US society and culture."(The Guardian).
"A billboard advertisement displayed in New York, Los Angeles and Palo Alto featured a boy calling his father "Daddy" instead of "Abba", the Hebrew word for father. “Before 'Abba' becomes 'Daddy', it's time to return to Israel," the ads said." (The Guardian)
"The ad campaign depicted a young Israeli woman wincing after her boyfriend mistakes candles and music marking Yom Hazikaron, Israel's Memorial Day, for a romantic night in. The words "They will always remain Israelis. Their partners won't always understand what that means. Help them return to Israel" are read by a somber narrator and scrolled across the screen. “(The Telegraph)
In other words not all Jews are equal. This was known since the time many Orthodox opposed the immigration of the Ethiopian Falashas in the 70ies.
For a change, I agree with the Israeli government. I am in fact in full favor of such a campaign. Let all American Jews go to Israel. Their influence on the US politics will vanish and the world will be safer as US Presidents will be able to impose peace in the Middle East (and why not, to force Israel to abandon its nuclear proliferation policy. Why only Iran?)

Friendly Fire
We are used to read, but without much emotion, about civilians killed in Afghanistan and other areas of the world by friendly fire, due to errors in identifying the targets.
No wonder, Americans ignore geography (they canceled its teaching about 15 years ago) and rely on automation. But also automation requires some knowledge the Americans seem to miss. In a recent correspondence from the USA, Antenne 2, a leading French public to illustrated some recent errors in the CNN Maps:
- Cannes, where Obama went for the G20 last October, was shown in Northern Spain instead of Southern France. Once the error was corrected, it was shown again in the wrong location near Spain;
- Tripoli, the Libyan capital, was located in Lebanon. True, there is also a Tripoli there and both countries start with an L....
- Switzerland was shown in Central Europe instead of the Czeck republic;
- Iraq was shown instead of Afghanistan in a report on refugees;
- A Japanese town hurt by earthquake was located on a Map in Central Africa;
- Kieav and Ukraine were shown in North Korea; and so on and so forth
Fox News is no better: a couple of years ago it showed Egypt instead of Iraq and vice versa...
No wonder if sometimes "very intelligent weapons" operated by ignorant idiots fall on the wrong target. Friendly fire, sorry....
So an advice to all: check on Google, CNN and Fox News where they locate the place you live in. And ensure that there is no place with the same name in a war area. And move out fast....if you see possibilities of mistakes. In particular if any of the so-called Iranian nuclear sites have a name that may sound similar to that of the place you live in: Israel may misdirect its bombs meant for Iran. The links between the US army and Israel are so close that the US may provide wrong maps.

Double nuclear I
So there is a lot of commotion about the fact that the IAEA would have demonstrated that Iran is planning to build and atomic bomb.
But what about Israel ? it is widely known that Israel has the bomb * but nobody objects to it. And between the two countries, Israel has a much longer record of aggressions, military arrogance, killings of enemies or suspected so.
Not all pigs are equal, not even in 2011

THE BLINDNESS OF US FOREIGN POLICY
The Arab world is in turmoil, the traditional US allies, corrupt and authoritarian regimes, are falling, the key country the US were relying upon for keeping some peace in the Middle East, Egypt, will go its own way. The entire castle, built over the years and that everybody knew was fragile, is collapsing.
Certainly Obama was fast in adapting to the Egyptian crisis (but the entire army is US trained, armed and financed!), has more difficulties in dealing with Libya and has no clue as to how to deal with Bahrain.
What is clear to all, and should be to the Obama's government, is that the Middle East will no longer be the same and relationships with the Arab world will be totally different. And as a consequence, the Israeli-Palestinian problem needs to be looked at in a different perspective.
Clear and simple. But not for the US and the blind Ms. Clinton whose electorate comprises the powerful Jewish community of New York State. So, yesterday, the US opposed a veto to a resolution condemning the Israeli settlements in occupied territories, which goes against previously voted Security Council resolutions.
The statements made by the US ambassador after the vetos do not change the facts: the US had a golden opportunity to show that it had understood that the Middle East is no longer the same. They had the opportunity to show to the Arab masses that they had understood and that the illegal and scandalous policy of Israel had lost the US support.
They missed everything and this will not help a settlement in the area. The masses, mad at their "leaders" (or better at the dictators that reign), will win, sooner than later. And then they will revolt against the US. A crisis nobody can imagine as yet.
It's Foreign Policy, idiot, get rid of Ms Clinton and be real. We are fed up of paying for the errors of the US blinded foreign policy.

Bin Laden and the roots of the problem
We, old Europeans as Rumsfeld once called us, have always been told that in the USA you have the best, including the best business schools and the best schools of strategy. Now what should one learn there ? One would expect that you learn that when you have a problem, you try to find the roots of the problem and try to resolve the situation in such a way.
Now, we are told that Bin Laden is a problem. But is he the root of the problem or is he a byproduct of the problem. ?
Yesterday Bin Laden issued a statement. Among others he said :
"What […] Israel, the United States' ally, was doing in terms of bombing houses that shelter old people, women and children with US-made aircraft in Palestine were sufficient to prompt the sane among your rulers to distance themselves from this criminal gang.:
Our kinfolk in Palestine have been slain and severely tortured for nearly a century.
If we defend our people in Palestine, the world becomes agitated and allies itself against Muslims, unjustly and falsely, under the pretence of fighting terrorism.
If you were distressed by the deaths of your men and the men of your allies in Tunisia, Karachi, Failaka, Bali and Amman, remember our children who are killed in Palestine and Iraq everyday, remember our deaths in Khowst mosques and remember the premeditated killing of our people in weddings in Afghanistan.
If you were distressed by the killing of your nationals in Moscow, remember ours in Chechnya.
Why should fear, killing, destruction, displacement, orphaning and widowing continue to be our lot, while security, stability and happiness be your lot?
This is unfair. It is time that we get even.* “
All media have spoken about such message. But few reported it correctly and respecting its structure. Even a newspaper I consider serious, Le Monde, published on line incorrect and partial statements.
Now what is the core of the message ? That the war will continue until the Palestinian situation is resolved. Nothing new. And fully justified.
Look at the situation: about 11 million people (the total Jewish population in the USA and Israel °) are holding hostage the entire Western World and more due to their arrogant and violent policies in the Middle East.
And instead of start thinking at resolving seriously the roots of the problem, an advisor of Obama , Mr. David Axelrod, declared “[Bin Laden]is an assassin and we will continue our fight against him and Al Qada to protect the American People”. The only way to protect the American People, is to force Israel to recognize Palestine, to withdraw from the occupied territories and to dismantle all colonies. This is the way. And to keep a few million votes, Obama is going in the wrong direction. But probably, he did not read Bin Laden’s message….

Israel and Egypt : human rights criminals
Palestinians have been living in the Middle East since thousand years.
Israelis occupied Palestine lands for just over 100 years.
Copts are the original inhabitants of Egypt.
Egypt was invaded by Arabs starting mid 600ad.
Israelis persecute Palestinians. Muslim Egyptians persecute Copts.
There is no difference between Mubarak’s regime and Israeli leaders. Will the US ever realize it and dump them ? There will be some instability in the region. But is there stability now ? Let us get rid of Egyptian and Israeli fundamentalists. We all pay for their sins.

OBAMA AND ISRAEL

Yesterday Obama met Netanyahu. Late announcement of the visit, no cameras, no joint communiqué.
But the White House press release does not mention, again, the freeze of Israeli colonies and simple refers to Israel’s security.
During the day, however, the White House spokesman had stated that the US policy had not changed since decades and was for the end of colonies in occupied territories. Contradicting in this way Hillary Clinton (see http://aprile25.blogspot.com/2009/11/one-year-ago-obama-taking-power-had.html ).
It seems that she did it again. Or is it a game by the US diplomacy, two people, two contradicting positions ? When the US will understand that to stop Muslim fundamentalism and terrorism around the world, Israel must adhere to the UN Security Council Resolution 242 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Nations_Security_Council_Resolution_242 ) and withdraw from all occupied territories ? and that the World is tired of the lack of security created by the US Zionist lobby? A few million Americans holding the world hostage with their blind support of Israel.

WALLS

Twenty years ago fell the Berlin wall and the iron curtain ended da facto. It was the end of Yalta, a new beginning for Europe, a period of hope and difficulties for many workers of the former Communist Europe.
Not enough is being said however, these days, of the opposition to a unified Germany that came from many western politicians, France and UK in particular, afraid of losing their petty interests and an anachronistic political advantages inherited from the second WW they still try to protect.
The world always had walls: Troy, China, the middle age castles in Europe, the New York virtual “wall” (as the east side 97th street was called, south the white and the wealth, north the coloured and poor),….
Today, when people celebrate the fall of the Berlin wall, we still have walls being built: in Italy, in the North East controlled by Berlusconi’s fascist allies of the Northern League to expel Roms, in the USA to limit the arrival of illegal Mexicans and Latino immigrants, and in Israel.
The last is the main scandal of the recent years, cutting villages, depriving Palestinian peasants from the land they cultivated for centuries, destroying olive trees plantations, the peace symbols, for a so called security of colons who occupy Palestinian land since the end of the second WW.
Gaza is now a big concentration camp, with no freedom of movement for its population, deprived of vital water (as demonstrated recently by Amnesty International), with a wall like the iron curtain or the Berlin wall.
How many people who celebrate today in Berlin, think of the Israeli’s wall ? but all walls fall and this one will fall too. Let us not forget that the Berlin Wall was the last resort for East Germany to try to stay afloat. It is the same for Israel: they cannot win against a people’s war. Nobody ever did, neither the French in Algeria and Indochina, nor the Russians in Afghanistan, nor the Americans in Vietnam. And NATO is not succeeding either in Afghanistan not to talk about Iraq.
The Israelis act like ostriches ignoring the reality: they cannot win over the Palestinians and one day, not too far away, even the Jewish lobby in the US, the main support for the survival of Israel, will fade.
Twenty more years ? possibly less. Let us not forget and let us wait. History continues.

Obama’s betrayal of Palestinians

One year ago, Obama taking power, had stated in no uncertain terms that the sine qua non condition for a successful peace process in the Middle East, was the total freeze of any Israeli colonization in the occupied territories and in Jerusalem.
As reported by Le Monde, on 27 May 2009 Ms Clinton stated “The President has been very clear with Mr. Netanayahou:he wants that colonization be stopped. No a few colonies, no wild colonies, no demographic exception”
However last week, during an official visit to the Middle East, Ms Clinton stated that “the freeze of colonization had never been a condition for the resumption of the peace negotiations”. Now she talks about limitation of colonization as a major step towards peace.
And the Israeli vice foreign minister to say : “we now have the evidence that the USA are our the best friends”
Nothing surprising in the US position if one looks at Ms Clinton: pro-Palestinians as President’s wife, pro Israeli as soon as she decided to run for a senate seat in NY, just to get the Jews votes.
And possibly, this dramatic switch in position of Obama’s administration, is to be seen in light of the elections taking place today: keep the votes of the Jews.
What is dramatic and scandalous is that a handful of Americans Jews keep million of poor Palestinians hostage, support that their land be stolen, close their eyes to the stealing of water by Israel, finance the buying of arms to kill innocent children and women. Of course, they live in the US and it is sufficient for them to blackmail politicians to deny Palestinians their fundamental Human Rights.
Obama is wrong and has been ill advised, he chose the war instead of peace.

Idiots VII - Ortodox Jews in Israel

The new Israeli Government includes, oh scandal, two women. Can you imagine that ? While European Government issue laws to ensure equality for men and women al lists, but are not so good in nominating women as cabinet members, in Israel two women in the Government are a problem for the "haredim" (those who fear God in Hebrew).
So the weekly "Shaa Tova" wiped out from the Government official picture Limor Livnat and Sofa Landver, the two women cabinet members. Even worse, the daily "Yateed Neeman" used specialized software to replace the image of the two ministers by that of two male colleagues....
The two papers, contacted by the Associated Press that issued the news, refused to comment.
This reminds us of Stalin and the Chinese dictators who used, and still do in Bejing, to edit the pictures to avoid embarrassing images for their beloved leaders. Ortodox Jews are again in power in Israel. If they do not even respect their own women, how do you expect them to respect Palestinians ?
Too much is too much, time to stop any leniency towards Israel and to impose a Palestinian State that includes all occupied territories.

Olmert’s wicked humour

On 1 February, Olmert “warned that there would be a "fierce and disproportionate" Israeli response in the event that rockets continue to be fired from the Gaza Strip into southern Israel or directed Israel Defense Forces soldiers.” 1
One wonders how he would qualify the recent Gaza invasion with 1,300 Palestinians killed against 13 Israeli (mostly killed by friendly fire). ?
In fact this is not humour, Olmert does not know what humour is. It is desperation: after such an effort, after being criticized by the world at large, after managing to get even the UN Secretary-General upset, all for gaining some votes at the next elections, rockets continue to fall on Israel (not many, four lately, with no damages). This is lese-majesty but above all makes him lose face. This is unacceptable.
So let us expect 2,600 Palestinians killed in the next 10 days. All this to gain some votes at the next polls and to allow Olmert to feel that he is a great man.

War criminals

Some NGOs have started a campaign to have Israeli leaders, civilian and military, prosecuted for war crimes.
Olmert and Livni issued a new law to protect the military from any prosecution. But they are the real criminals, those to be prosecuted. Not to forget Netanyahu. There is no other way to define them. No wonder Israel did not sign the convention for the UN War Crimes Tribunal.
Easy to prosecute some Africans, and some Serbians. But the genocide of the Palestinian people has been going on for too long (see the article Self defense? No War crimes ). It is time that it be stopped.
Let us find a way to prosecute them. Garzon, time for you to act.

A CALL FOR GENOCIDE

Netanyahu, the likely next Israeli Prime Minister, stated that the aim must be to totally destroy Hamas. But when will they understand that to destroy Hamas they have to kill the majority of the Gza strip (and not only) Palestinian population ? that the Hamas popularity and support for just increased thanks to the last Gaza war ?
The Israelis, and many Western people including Obama, ask for Hamas to recognize the right of Israel to exist. Why don’t they also pretend the same from Israel ? that after 60 years, in fact after centuries, the Palestinians also have the right to a State, free an secure ?
The statement of Netanyahu can only be considered a call for genocide, he started, Olmert and Livni continued. Dark future for the Middle East. Obama and his Middle East envoy must act fast and firmly.

Self defense ? no war crimes

In most civilized countries, thus excluding Russia by definition, the right to self defense is controlled to avoid abuses. After violent events of self defense, courts open investigations to ensure that the reaction was not excessive.
The Israeli leadership, and the opposition, claim that their last Gaza intervention was for self defense.
Let us see some figures:
Between September 2000 and October 2008 there have been 1062 Israeli killed, versus 4897 Palestinians. A ratio of 1 to 4.6. 1
The “crop” of the Gaza war is even more significant 2:
1300 Palestinians killed (of which 410 children and 700 civilians)
13 Israelis killed (most of them by friendly fire)
5300 Palestinians wounded many with handicaps that will accompany them for the rest of their life.
18 Israelis killed by Qassam rockets over the past 8 years
14% of all building in the Gaza strip destroyed
360 million € (470 million dollars) worth of damages in the Gaza strip.
So a ratio of 1 Israeli per 100 Palestinians: better than what the Nazis did as rappresaglia against “terrorist attacks” (read partisans’ war actions) during the Second World War.
The justification of self defense the Israeli leadership gives for the Gaza war is simply unacceptable and groundless. So the cries and statements made in front of the Western TVs by Israeli citizens.
The reason was that Olmert and Livni were looking at ways not to lose too badly the next elections. This is the true reason, the only reason for the Gaza war, too much ignored by the Western Press.
And they are not ashamed: after the war, Livni stated that her conscience is “a posto”. Civilians killed? Children killed? Thousand of Palestinians wounded? This happens in wars, she stated, just collateral effects I am sorry a few weeks ago I thought, and wrote in this blog, that Livni could be a hope for peace and the Middle East future.
These are war crimes, nothing else. And the Jews, outside of Israel, should realize it. Criticizing Israel, its crimes, does not mean being anti Semitic. It just means crying for justice. Israel is not the Jews at large and the Jews at large are not Israel.

ARE THEY REAL ?

Israelis bomb Gaza. Hundreds of civilians are killed (more than 500 deaths in a few days all deaths included, so far).
The Italian Radio this morning, after talking about the death toll, makes the announcement that also the Istraelis had one death, a soldier.
Yesterday the Pope, with his incisive voice, stated "we hope that the little baby in the manger will convince the belligerants to stop".
Today the Italian Minister for Foreign Affairs, to justify the Italian position, states "We have the same position as the Pope". May-be Italy will send hay to feed the animals in the holy stable...Benedict will appreciate it.

Symbol of Peace ?

We all learned about the Olive tree as sign of Peace. One of the most abused symbol is the dove with an olive branch first described in the Book of Genesis. It seems however that the Israelis have forgotten about it.
The colons and the army cut olive trees, the main resource of many Palestinians, the result of tens of years of efforts to grow them, thus destroying morally and materially the owners lives and history. Israelis incorporate fields of olive trees into their security perimeter, behind the wall (does anybody remember of the iron wall so much criticized by the “free world” ?) forbidding the Palestinian owners to care for and harvest them.
This is their way build peace : to cultivate hatre so that pace will be impossible. So obvious, only they and the US administration do not seem to see it and peace is every day more difficult to achieve.
