BERLUSCONI'S DEMONSTRATION THAT DARWIN WAS WRONG

The Vatican and the foreign languages

We learn from Wikileaks that the Vgtican is weakened by the poor knowledge of English of many prelates and the fact that there seems to be only one person using the blackberry.

The real decadence. The language mostly spoken seems to be the Italian but in Europe this language is losing weight: the EY^U refused to include it among the languages for filing patents. Only English, normal, French, who else apart from France and Belgium speack such language, and German, the languiage on the principal patents applications source.

However the US diplomats forgot that Latin is the official language of the church...how many US diplomats can undertake a conversation in Latin ? and does the Blòackberry have a Latin dictionnary ?

Finally, the non usage of the Blackberry, with its servers in Canada open to intrusion by the CIA and the FBI (this is known and it is official) may still mean that in the Vatican they know how to preserve secrets. Certainly bettere than the US Army and Department of State....

Criminal judgment by a Vatican court

Recently, the “Sacra Rota”, the Vatican tribunal judging about the catholic divorce, called cancellation for a series of detailed principles (but the main one seems to be the wealth of people who can afford good and expensive lawyers ) decided to cancel one such marriage for a scandalous reason.

The couple had agreed to use condoms for their intercourse since the groom had a serious sexually transmitted disease. So, the purpose of the marriage and of the sexual act to create children could not be met and the marriage was declared invalid (at the request of the groom).

Good morale: to protect their policies they do not hesitate to put at risk the health of women. As the Popes preaching in Africa to stop using condoms or those “pro-life” who fight even abortions for medical reasons.

Of course, these are policies established by men for men. By a church that continues to refuse to give the same rank to women by forbidding them to accede to priesthood. Like Islam and Judaism.

God protect us from those who pretend to talk on your behalf.

The Vatican arrogance

After Obama cancelled the “Mexico City Policy” of non financing organizations that do not exclude abortion as a tool of family planning, the Vartican and the catholic church in general attacked him. Apart from the usual arguments (defending life etc) I was stunned by one comment : “Monsignor” Rino Fisichella, president of the Pontifical Academy for life accused Obama of the “arrogance typical of those who believe that they are right”.

A few days earlier, the Turin Cardinal, Poletto, reacting to a statement by the Region’s President about the readiness of its public structures to deal finally with the case of a lady who has been in coma for the past 16 years and whose right to die has been challenged by the Church and the right wing politicians (for selfish political interest) stated that “God’s law is above the human law”.

And remember the Popes traveling to Africa and making speeches against the use of condoms, right in those areas where AIDS is decimating the population.

Who says that they are right ? self-serving auto-certification on the basis of a smoky philosophy of natural law ?

Aren’t they arrogant ? it was good to read these days that Rabbis reminded the Church that for Jews, human law must be respected. On the contrary, bishops and the Vatican, especially in Italy, Spain and the USA, call for non respect of State laws, want to dictate to the States what the laws must be.

Monsignor Fisichella and Cardinal Poletto missed an opportunity to shut up showing that the arrogance lies with the Catholic Church. But it may be a reaction to their constant decline in influence and power. A real reactionary policy.

Go ahead like that Benedict XVI

We know, you just said that you do not want to be a star. The statement was a little surprise since you talk so much about everything, and especially Italy.

But may-be your statement was “preventive politics”. We just learned in fact that your audience is going down: more than 4 million people attended your audiences in the Vatican and at Castelgandolfo in 2005. Only 3 .2 million in 2006, 2.8 million in 2007 and 2.2 million in 2008. Please start delivering your speeches in your beloved Latin so that the decline will be faster in the future.

Back to reality

I have been silent for quite some time because I was wondering. Wondering why I was doing this, wondering why I continued to be a marginal when the majority of Italians still support Berlusconi. What for ?

But two facts lead me to decide to start writing again:

- the leading fascist who now tries to show himself as a democrat, Mr. Fini, who suddenly discovered Israel and when he goes there wears a kippa, made a speech for the 70th anniversary of the Italian Racial laws. Laws issued by his (former ?) raw model, Mussolini and were the beginning of the persecution of Jews in Italy.

Mr Fini stated, among others, that nobody reacted to their promulgation (unanimous) by the Parliament. No Italian reacted, the Vatican did not react.

So I felt that the same situation happens now: too few react to the way Berlusconi and his allies erode democracy. But this does not mean that the majority of Italians are right, as the lack of reactions to the racial laws meant that they were right.

- Le Monde dated 19 December published a poll of European journalists posted in Brussels by the local newspaper La Tribune. It aimed at rating the 27 heads of government of the Eu during 2008.
The one who got the 27th rank is Berlusconi describes as “fuss maker, unforeseeable and selfish”.

So I am not the only one who finds Berlusconi and Co. dangerous and useless. On the contrary. And being part of a minority does not mean that I am wrong.

And I decide to start writing again on the blog.

I am not going to talk about the financial crisis, too many did it and are doing it, or other main events everybody writes about. But I will continue to blast at Berlusconi, his allies and at idiots in general, European, American, Asian, Catholic, Jews, Muslims, whatever. Here back I am.

One thought on what Mr. Fini stated : that nobody reacted to the racial laws. He is probably right but if one looks carefully, isn’t it a smart way to try to diminish the role of Fascists and of Mussolini. It is a way to make all Italians, and the Vatican, share the responsibility which is of Mussolini and the fascists in the persecution of Italian Jews. A smart way to hide a fascist ideology as democratic. Fini fascist was, fascist still is.

Mammon

A few years ago, the daughter of a very high level Vatican civil employee dealing with the finances of the Holy See, was kidnapped and never seen again. The scandal was huge and many thought that the kidnapping was just a mean to warn some people that they themselves were in danger if they did not behave.

It was the Cardinal Marcinkus’ time, the (in)famous administrator of the Holy See finances. It was also the time of “banchieri di Dio” (God bankers), the well known Sindona and Calvi, linked to Italian masonry, who both ended up assassinated.

It was also the time of the “Banda della Magliana” a very powerful and cruel gang dominating Rome.

Recently, the former lover of the head of the gang came out with revelations about the kidnapping of the girl accusing Cardinal Marcinkus himself (but he is dead !)

And people discover that the boss’ remains lie in a church in Rome, in a beautifully designed marble tumb and that the former vicar of that church had written high praising letters about the guy to obtain permission to have him remains in the church. Indeed the family had paid a lot, a lot of dirty money to the Church. What best way to do money laundering ?

Still in the 20^th century the Church was selling his favours. Luterus and Savonarola have been forgotten indeed. But it is well known that money has no scent….and that God’s ways have no limits….

Towards a schism in the Italian catholic church ?

Berusconi’s specialty are laws “ad-personam” (made to fit one person, i.e. him and sometimes his laqués. And he always find stupid people who vote for them just to keep their position in Parliament…

Recently, he paid a very publicized visit to the Pope: pictures all over, the opening in the news of private (i.e. his) and public (i.e. controlled by him) TVs, articles of praise in the press aligned to the government.

And the Pope praising him for the new (according to the Pope) friendly “political” climate in Italy, hoping to get money back…( Berlusconi made a law exonerating the Church and religious institution from paying taxes….and now he promised to finance the private schools, i.e. the Church controlled schools).

Berlusconi was seeing flying back to his Palace, from the Pontifex Palaces, on a cloud…..

So he, the strongest ally of the Church in the defence of Family values…., thought that it was time for the Pope himself to make a law “ad personam”, i.e. to grant the opportunity of receiving the Holy Communion also to people who had divorced ( himself and the other two leaders of his coalition, Bossi and Fini, themselves defenders of family values, have divorced).

But the Pope refused ! only those whose soul is pure can receive the Holy Communion he stated (i.e. Berlusconi does not have a pure soul and for a change we agree with the Pope).

So, what to do ? several scenarios: give more money to the Church and get a “personal” permission to get a holy communion (Luterus Luterus Luterus, does it ring a bell ?), to continue suffering in his soul (for the body he has the young girls he is often seen with who ensure that he does not suffer too much) or to follow a famous precedent: like in England, create an Italian Church with the Prime Minister as its head. The Brits have the Anglican church, the Italians will have the Berlusoni’s, oops pardon me, the Italian church.
