BERLUSCONI IS NO LONGER THE SAME

Berlusconi was used to carry girls (and more) on the State planes. More or less secretively.

It has just been discovered that, disguised as a priest with black gown, he was an illegal passenger in Pope's plane flying to Latin America.

From there, with a private plane (to save money he travelled on the return flight of cocaine smugglers who had just delivered it to the Pope's assistants who needed some strength for the tiring trip), he flew to Brazil where he...became a transsexual. He then went to Cuba, disguised as a nun with a blond wig, to join again the Pope's party to return to Iyaly....

In Italy, he left his party group in the Parliament, to join the independents as a woman and gays and  transsexual rights activist.

Why all this ? Because Napolitano has just suggested that his successor be a woman. Berlusconi always wanted to be the next president so he will be a president, half man and half woman, before the successor a 100% woman.

Gender revolution is great but it must be done step by step.....

And it happened: Berlusconi was not condemned

So you have a crime that was ascertained: a rich man had bribed a witness to influence his depositions. The person bribed was condemned. The corrupter was not. http://aprile25.blogspot.com/2012/02/berlusconi-is-innocent.html#links
The condemned one was one of Berlusconi's lawyers. The corrupter was Berlusconi.
The Tribunal had the choice of acquitting Berlusconi or of declaring that the terms for judging the crime had expired.
The Tribunal chose the second option an indirect way to declare that it had found Berlusconi guilty but could not condemn him due to the terms that had expired. Why so ? because of the laws Berlusconi had promulgated to reduce the terms for judging certain crimes and because his lawyers successfully managed to delay the proceedings.

But Belrusconi was found guilty ! He escaped once more but we will get him with other pending trials.

IDIOTS XXX : DID YOU EVER PEE IN THE STREET ?

Beware, you must be gay. At least following the logic of M. Giovanardi, a former Minister of Berlusconi (in charge of family affairs !), a good catholic who migrated from the Christian democratic party to Berlusconi.

His main concern as a politician was to fight the gays. So, recently, he stated that two women who kiss in public is like peeing in the street....So if you ever did poe in the street, may be you are.....

As a smart Italian blogger wrote. kissing and peeing havwe the same effect : they excite the penis.
Thak you Mr. Giovanardi for making us laugh in these sad times.....

BERLUSCONI IS INNOCENT !

Once again today, Berlusconi will be acquitted for witness corruption charges.

A British lawyer, M. Mills, was already condemned for being bribed by Berlusconi for making false declarations. In other words, Berlusconi was already found guilty, indirectly.

He could not be judged at the same time as his lawyer, because of the many laws in his favor he made his Parliament approve, like in any Banana Republic. But now the trial arrives to an end.

The judgement is expected today. And it will be acquittal because the terms have expired, not because he is not guilty.

The terms have expired because of the laws he made the Parliament approve to shorten the terms and to declassify the crime of corruption. All laws in his favor only.

In other civilized countries, the terms expire if no trial has commenced. Once the trial has started, the terms do not expiry. Not in Italy. So if you are a politician or if you are rich, you can manage to pay good lawyers who know how to delay the judgement until the terms have expired.

B (like Banana or Berlusconi) republic.

What Berlusconi fears, however, is that the Tribunal will acquit him with a statement to the effect that although guilty he cannot be condemned due to the terms that have expired. He is scared to death and has kept issuing all kind of declarations these days.

Because there are other trials going on and this one can be the first of many where the judges state that he is guilty.

Let us see what will happen.....

IDIOTS XXIX: SEXUAL DISCRIMINATION FOR MAKING SEX

Two teens, 15 years old, are discovered making sex in the school's toilets.
They must be punished, of course.
So here start the discrimination: if it were to give them money, of course the boy would have got more money than the girl. But it was to give them a punishment.
So he was supended for one day, she was suspended for four days.
The reason ? they were making sex in the boys' toilets.....
Did this happen in the USA, Pakistan, an Arab country?

Nope. This was in Italy, in Bassano del Grappa, at the Einaudi school.

Idiots are really everywhere and this is how they pretebnd to educate kids....it seems that they do not want to follow Berlusconi's example !

About corruption

"Illegality, corruption and crooks are still very much a reality in the country" stated yesterday the Italian GAO President Giampaolino. And this 20 years after the scandal of Mani Pulite (clean hands) exploded and Craxi, then Prime Minister, Berlusconi's protector, had to leave Italy in voluntary exile in Tunisia, after stating that what he had done was the norm.

Until he died, Craxi was protected by Ben Ali, the well reputed Tunisian President.  In a prior blog
http://www.aprile25.blogspot.com/2011/02/italy-and-ben-ali.html#links  I described the attitude of former Berlusconi's under-secretary for Foreign Affairs who had praised Ben Ali while he was being kicked out by the Tunisians: her name was Stefania Craxi, the daughter of the CROOK by excellence.

The same day the GAO President makes public his concerns, she does not find anything better than to state that the "Clean Hands" investigations that brought to light the extensive corruption of the Political class in Italy, in fact created major damages to the country leading to a "civic and moral decay" of Italy.

She really has no shame, possibly because she regrets not having had the possibility of getting as rich as her father through corruption. And she was a distinguished representative of Berlusconi's government...

Crazy surrealism

Italy is going through a recession and an emergency government to try to rescue the country and the Euro after 17 years of good government by Berlusconi and his right wing allies.

The crisis was known since years but according to Berlusconi, three years ago, and subsequently, it was just an invention of the journalists. There was no crisis in Italy and in fact Italy had come out of the International crisis better and faster than any other country and that the Italians were better off than before the so-called crisis (1). In the meantime the debt was growing....

Two weeks ago, after he had to surrender his premiership due to the crisis he stated that Italy was fine, since restaurants and planes were full...possibly the restaurants for billionaires he goes to....

A couple of days ago, in Marseille, he stated that "financially, Italy is the most solid country in Europe after Germany, before Sweden, France and the UK. We are faced with an indebted state and affluent citizen."

Surrealism was a creative art movement, Berlusconi destroyed Italy. He is simply crazy. And those who support him, even worse, desperate mental cases.

IDIOTS XVIII - ITALIAN RACISM

A Senegalese woman, illegal immigrant in Italy.

Her man who beats her, rapes hes, humuliates her and blackmails her: "you are nobody without papers in Italy, nobody will help you".

Aftyer three years of calvary, she reports her man.

And the smart Police, applying the Fini-Bossi law. jails her: she is an illegal immigrant, isn't she ?

Conclusions: Idiots are everywhere and are dangerous.

And the third day.....

As an Italian comic, Fiorello, said yesterday, "get reassured, it is only the second day after his resignation, on the third he will resuscitate".

Looking at the spread for the Italian Treasury Bonds today and at the stock exchange, one wonders whether Fiorello was not right. In fact, Berlusconi never died, just went into a comatose state and will continue to negatively influence Italy.

As of now, many of us doubt Italy will resurrect soon.

What's happening in Italy is exactly what happens when a long reigning dictator goes. The mess and the need for a lot of time to recover. But markets may not wait.

Hard times facing Italy, thanks to Berlusconi and his bunch of crooks.

Why Berlusconi resigned ?

It is generally recognized that Berlusconi entered into politics to avoid bankruptcy after his protector (and beneficiary of large donations) Mr. Craxi, then Prime Minister, fell due to corruption. But Craxi was the one who blocked a law against TV monopoly in Italy that would have stopped Berlusconi's expansion and control of the waves.

Over his 17 years in power, most of his political action was to reinforce his economic power, making the Parliament approve laws in favor of his companies or in his own personal interest to avoid being condemned for his economic crimes.

It is being recognized that his recent resignation, following a loss of majority in the House (but not in the Senate) was prompted by the risks of his financial and industrial empire to collapse. In seven years, the value of the Mediaset stock fell from more than 7€ to 2,36€ today. Profits fell and are falling. His right hand, Confalonieri, would have demonstrated to him last week that his stay in power could have meant the collapse of the company and of his many affiliates. Knowing that the Parliament would not have endorsed any new law in his interest, he resigned but the stock continued fall today.

Confirming this scenario are the news that he would have requested Mario Monti, the new Prime Minister, not to issue any new laws on TV broadcast and on conflict of interests....

A crook is a crook is a crook and Berlusconi will remain a crook until he dies.

Gone ?

Thousands of people rallied in Rome to celebrate Beerlusconi's resignation. It was impressive, really what you see when a dirty regime falls. And I would have loved to be there.

But I am far from celebrating. He is a crook, this is known, surrounded by desperate crooks who see their future endangered. The endangered species of Berlusconi's friends. As only the right can do, like in the USA against Obama, Berlusconi's allies started shooting at Mario Monti expected to become the next Prime Minister. A respected person against a crazy crook, this they cannot envisage. And the most violent are the betrayers, those who jumped in Berlusconi's wagon from the left or the extreme right.

The game is not over, Napolitano cannot do everything on his own, the left groups play their usual tricks that returned Italy to Berlusconi in 2008, the Church is active with the so called Christian Democrats, another unreliable group that survives thanks to the funds given to his leader by his father in law (it doesn’t  matter for the Church that fact that the guy, Casini, married twice, he is useful....) that moves with the wind....

We are not there yet and even if Monti makes it, the legacy of 17 years of Berlusconi's power will not go away so fast.

Crossing fingers but quite pessimistic tonight

The New Italian Holy Trinity

A few years ago, after an election won by the center-left thanks to the votes of the Italians living abroad, left activists, imitating slogans used by Church followers shouted " Tremaglia Santo Subito " (Tremaglia, the right wing politician who had sponsored the law giving a vote to Italians abroad, must be declared a Saint immediately).

Now Italians have new Saints. The recent weeks have seen a new Holy Trinity arising from the Italian disasters:

- President Napolitano, the Communist President who understands capitalism better than anybody else and who maintained the little credibility Italy still has with the capitalistic world;

- Angela Merkel who supported Napolitano (she used to call him instead of Berlusconi) and who played a key role in kicking out Berlusconi;

- Sarkozy, who, after kicking out Gaddafi, did it again with Berlusconi.

However, with the new Italian Government to be nominated soon, and in line with the costs savings measures needed in public spending, the Trinity will be reduced to two, Napolitano and Merkel, the financial markets kicking out the embarrassing third. And even more the Duality will assume an additional role. Angela will also assume the role of the virgin Mary. Wasn't she predestined with such a name and parentage ?

ITALY CONTINUES TO SUPPORT KADDAFI

"Italy does not wish the end of the Colonel's power, we havew no reasons to wish the fall of a leader who, currently, maintains good relationships with the entire international community. Indeed repression is not acceptable...

Berlusconi explained to Kaddafi that Italy did not provide arms to Bengazi's rebels. And do not forget that Kaddafi himself recalled the warm reception he received for his visit in Rome ...."

Colonel ? Kaddafi invented such a title
Leader ? leader or dictator ?
Good relations ? threatening Europe to let all illegal immigrants cross the Mediterranean sea unless it does not give him 5 billion $ a year is a sgn of good relations ?
Warms reception ion Roma ? it was a a shame

The above statements were made by M. Lamberto Dinoi, a former Prime Minister, now Chair of the Italian Senate Committee for Foreign Affairs and an ally of Berlusconi have been published in La Repubblica of 24 February 2011.

BERLUSCONI'S ITALY AND BEN ALI

Berlusconi and Craxi
There was a Prime Minister, socialist he called himself, named Craxi.

In 1984, as Prime Minister, he issued a decree to legalize the illegal operations of Berlusconi's televisions. The decree was approved in 1985 and we know what happened since then.

In 1985, he got concerned about the tensions between Algeria and Tunisia.

The Italian secret service, in consultation with the Libyan and Algerian authorities, identified a named Ben Ali as a possible solution to the growing crisis in Tunisia.

In 1987, with the help of the Italians, Ben Ali became president. Craxi was no longer a Minister but was the leader of a party member of the Government. According to many sources, and in particular the former chief of the Italian Secret Service, it was Craxi the main master of such coup d'état.

In 1991, it was discovered that he had received 20 billion liras (a hell of a lot of money then) on a secret account in Switzerland...

That was the tip of the iceberg of the corruption of the man who had elevated it to a system of government. But the justice, that same that Berlusconi now attacks, went after him.

In 1994, after demonstrations in the streets, harsh criticism in the press and a loss of parliamentary immunity, he escaped to Tunisia where he lived a luxurious life (thanks to the money he had collected illegally), under the protection of Ben Ali, until he dies in 2000.

During the recent Tunisian crisis, the TG1 (main news on public TV in Italy, directed by a servant, or better prostitute, of Berlusconi was broadcasting a service from its correspondent in Tunisia who was describing how corrupt, violent and anti-democratic was Ben Ali. Suddenly the broadcast was stopped for no reason (normally they apologize for technical problems). Shortly after, the same TG did broadcast an interview during which the interviewed person praised Ben Ali, what he had done the economic development of Tunisia and so on and so forth...

The person interviewed was the vice-minister for Foreign Affairs (and of course the Minister did not contradict her subsequently)

Her name: Stefania CRAXI. Craxi? Yes, the daughter of Bettino Craxi, the crook who helped Berlusconi.

A full circle....a shameful demonstration of the intellectual corruption, to say the least, of Berlusconi and his clique and of his Minister for Affaris, Frattini.

BERLUSCONI VIEWED BY THE NEW YORK TIMES (Roger Cohen)

This is an op-ed colimn by ROGER COHEN published on February 21, 2011 in the New York Times

BERLUSCONI'S ARAB DANCER
LONDON — It says something about the miserable European response to the Arab spring that Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi’s personal contribution to North African affairs — his alleged liaison with a then-17-year-old Moroccan dancer — only just takes the prize for most abject performance

His foreign minister, Franco Frattini, was not far behind with his response to the brave uprising of the Tunisian people that ousted the longtime dictator Zine el-Abidine Ben Ali: “Priority number one is the deterrence of Islamic fundamentalism and terrorist cells.”

All manner of worthy things may be wished for Arabs just across the Mediterranean — and they were by President Nicolas Sarkozy’s fatuous brainchild, the 43-member Union for the Mediterranean — but of course democracy and freedom are not among them.

In his own way the aging multibillionaire Berlusconi — with his too-black hair and his fawning entourage and his control of the media and his private villas and his debasement of the Italian state — has aped the manners of the very Arab despots the peoples of Egypt and Tunisia and Libya and Bahrain have risen to oust. Like them he has confused self and nation, entranced by the cult of his personality.

Or, and it hardly matters which, these Arab dictators and their business acolytes have aped Berlusconi, mimicking the worst of the West while bringing nothing of its political openness, creating a valueless simulacrum of moneyed European sophistication while their people languished without the most basic rights the European Union upholds.

Designer labels without freedom of speech or the rule of law constitute a virulent form of contemporary savagery.

Berlusconi epitomizes a long trans-Mediterranean connivance with Arab subjugation — a marriage of convenience that condemned Arabs to be supplicants (Moroccan dancers there to titillate). Men and women across North Africa have taken to the streets to overturn this dignity-denying status quo. They want to stand on their own two feet rather than forever being cast as peoples in decline.

A judge, Cristina Di Censo, has now indicted Berlusconi, 74, on charges that he paid for sex with a 17-year-old girl, Karima el-Mahroug, who has denied having sex with him. People power, Italian-style, brought a half-million protesters into the streets on Feb. 13.

I’d say this particular Italian soap has run long enough: A leader more consumed with his virility and Arab women one quarter his age than with governance does not serve Italy well.

It is not up to the indicted (nor to their lawyers) to reform Justice

DO IT AGAIN BERLUSCONI

Berlusconi kissing Kaddafi's hands full of blood and oil March 2010

I did higlight yesterday the blindness of Italian foreign policy towards the Mediterranean, by Berlusconi and his servant the Minister for Affairs as I call him.

Today they did it again....anf this towards Kaddafi. Their lightness may be explained by the fact that, according to many prostitutes, Berlusconi would have explained to them that he learned the Bunga Bunga from Khaddafi himself.

So there is crisis in Libya and here are some declarations:

USA : The Department of State states his "great concern" and requests the "immediate stop to the violence against demonstrators".°

EU : Catherine Ashton declares " We appeal to moderation and we plea for an immediate stop to violence"°

France : The Minister for European Affairs declares that the repression is "unacceptable and tottly out of proportion"°

Italy : The Minister for Affairs with his suave voice, Mr. Frattini, stated that Italy will not agree with any EU declaration criticizing the Libyan leader * . The "national reconciliation process must start in a peaceful mode to lead to a democratic constitution: this would be the main objective".^

Apart from the fact that once again the Italian diplomacy is out of touch with reality, it tries a cover up for one of the worst dictators left in the world (Berlusconi's concept of freedom) and is behind what is happening, as it was for Tunisia and Egyps. But the priority are the laws to protect Berlusconi's ass, with the blessing of the catholic Frattini.
