DANGEROUS IDIOTS XXVI : ATLANTA JEWISH TIMES EDITOR

Andrew Adler, owner and publisher of the Atlanta Jewish Time wrote in a recent editorial:

"Three, give the go-ahead for U.S.-based Mossad agents to take out a president deemed unfriendly to Israel in order for the current vice president to take his place, and forcefully dictate that the United States' policy includes its helping the Jewish state obliterate its enemies.

Yes, you read "three" correctly. Order a hit on a president in order to preserve Israel's existence. Think about it. If I have thought of this Tom Clancy-type scenario, don't you think that this almost unfathomable idea has been discussed in Israel's most inner circles?"

The other two options to protect Israel from Hamas and Hezbollah would be: 1. attack Hezbollah and Hamas; 2. "order the destruction of Iran's nuclear facilities at all costs;"

Who is a terrorist? Some Jewish extremists such as Andrew Adler or Mahmoud Abbas?

Take an Adler, add a Gingrich and we are in a real shit. In a way, better for the USA to be isolationists and drop Europe and Israel and the Middle East. The world will be safer.

USA and Palestine

So the Americans want to punish UNESCO because sovreign states, not the Organization, decided that it is time for Palestine to be considered as a State irrespective of what Israel and the Jewish American lobby think.

And once again US internal politics prevail over common sense.

Certainly, the right wing Republicans and the Democrats elected in areas with a strong Jewish constituency will celebrate.  But what do they celebrate ? the increasing loss of credibility of American Foreign Policy and influence ? Because that is the vote at UNESCO. Narrow minded blinded idiots.

In any case the US had left UNESCO once already in the past, and UNESCO survived very well. It will be the same this time, adding insult to injury to the US foreign policy (lead, do not forget, by Hillary Clinton whose Senate election depends upon the NY Jewsih vote).

The decline of the USA continues but they do not want to realize it. And Obama makes another big mistake....

Do you remember Stalin having pictures "edited" so that former friends he had  made disappear (understatement) would not appear next to him any longer ?

Der Tzitung, a Brooklin based hasidic newspaper, in yddish, did better: it erased from the picture of the situation room where Obama and his aides were following the attack to Bin Laden compound the only two women: Hillary Clinton and Audrey Tomason, Obama's aide for counterterrorism.

This was done, according to the editor, in compliance qith Jewish religion, not to show images of women....does it remind you something of Muslim integralism ?

Funnily enough, Sen. Clinton has been elected mostly thanks to the Jewish vote....but they erase her.

Idiots are evenly spread around the world, but idiots they remain.

OBAMA AND ISRAEL

Yesterday Obama met Netanyahu. Late announcement of the visit, no cameras, no joint communiqué.

But the White House press release does not mention, again, the freeze of Israeli colonies and simple refers to Israel’s security.

During the day, however, the White House spokesman had stated that the US policy had not changed since decades and was for the end of colonies in occupied territories. Contradicting in this way Hillary Clinton (see http://aprile25.blogspot.com/2009/11/one-year-ago-obama-taking-power-had.html ).

It seems that she did it again. Or is it a game by the US diplomacy, two people, two contradicting positions ? When the US will understand that to stop Muslim fundamentalism and terrorism around the world, Israel must adhere to the UN Security Council Resolution 242 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Nations_Security_Council_Resolution_242 ) and withdraw from all occupied territories ? and that the World is tired of the lack of security created by the US Zionist lobby? A few million Americans holding the world hostage with their blind support of Israel.

BRAVO, BRAVISSIMO

Last night the House of representatives approved a revised Obama’s proposal for a new heath system. Finally, 96% of the Americans will have the possibility of having health care and the private lobbies will have real competition.

Sadly enough however, bigotry still prevailed and millions of American women will be deprived the right to decide about their own body or to have costly and/or illegal abortions. This is not freedom: freedom is choice. Nobody will force women who do not want it, to abort. But women who want or need, will not have such choice.

The fight is not over and Obama will face strong opposition in the Senate. Let us hope that he will prevail again. Health is a too serious matter to be left to profit making capitalists.

Bravo Obama, bravissimo.

Obama’s betrayal of Palestinians

One year ago, Obama taking power, had stated in no uncertain terms that the sine qua non condition for a successful peace process in the Middle East, was the total freeze of any Israeli colonization in the occupied territories and in Jerusalem.

As reported by Le Monde, on 27 May 2009 Ms Clinton stated “The President has been very clear with Mr. Netanayahou:he wants that colonization be stopped. No a few colonies, no wild colonies, no demographic exception”

However last week, during an official visit to the Middle East, Ms Clinton stated that “the freeze of colonization had never been a condition for the resumption of the peace negotiations”. Now she talks about limitation of colonization as a major step towards peace.

And the Israeli vice foreign minister to say : “we now have the evidence that the USA are our the best friends”

Nothing surprising in the US position if one looks at Ms Clinton: pro-Palestinians as President’s wife, pro Israeli as soon as she decided to run for a senate seat in NY, just to get the Jews votes.

And possibly, this dramatic switch in position of Obama’s administration, is to be seen in light of the elections taking place today: keep the votes of the Jews.

What is dramatic and scandalous is that a handful of Americans Jews keep million of poor Palestinians hostage, support that their land be stolen, close their eyes to the stealing of water by Israel, finance the buying of arms to kill innocent children and women. Of course, they live in the US and it is sufficient for them to blackmail politicians to deny Palestinians their fundamental Human Rights.

Obama is wrong and has been ill advised, he chose the war instead of peace.

THE REAL OBAMA

Mr Berlusconi had already told us that it is thanks to him and his good advice to the US and Russian presidents that a new cold war had nor erupted again.

He also informed us that the crisis is being resolved faster that it was expected because Obama had done what he, Berlusconi of course, had told him to do.

Yesterday, before making a speech to the UN (after his friend el-Gaddafi…), he declared to the press that Obama had said what he himself had wanted to say.

Will one day the US voter realize that by voting Obama, they in fact elected Berlusconi as US President ? Many Italians are ready for an exchange…for sure.

Berlusconi versus Obama

Two days ago, Berlusconi stated that he has a 75% rate of popularity while Obama has only 56%.

True ! and sad!

I have been very silent again on my blog due to the depression looking at the Italian situation. Indeed, I have to admit that Berlusconi is the winner, and for long time to come will be here (unless natural causes deprive his beloved country from his presence).

The experience of a two party country has failed. Failed because the left does not exist, because the so called reformist party, the Democratic Party, created and supported by a large part of the population (with millions of people voting at the time of its constitution, does not exist.

The two souls of the party, the centre-left reformist and atheist and the catholic, cannot work together. No way of fighting for social progress for individual rights, for women rights: the catholic, supported and inspired by the Church, will stop them. And the very left continues to live in its glorious isolation, with no voters and supporters but a handful of ideologists who do not understand how politics work in Italy.

On the other side, you have the right, Berlusconi who is nothing but a populist dictator, the so-called “former” fascists of Alleanza Nazionale, the real fascists of the Northern Leagues, and plenty of others who betrayed their old center left parties: they disagree, they have different agendas, but the hunger for power keeps them together. And Berlusconi keeps them together, giving each one of them a little every time they complain.

What a difference from the previous center-left government of Prodi where all parties kept fighting openly threatening every week to create a government crisis ! and led to the crisis and the third election of Berlusconi.

So, how is it that Berlusconi is more popular than Obama ? just because Obama is serious, because he takes decisions sometimes unpopular, because he does not hesitate to go against the conservative Christians. While Berlusconi, a real show-man, talks like a TV anchorman, says OK to all, says things that he contradicts with the facts but the press and television he controls, report only what he says, because he is a yes-man versus the Church. And the ignorance of the population, their thirst for money (many still say that if he manage d to become the richest man in Italy, he is certainly a great man), their only interest for showgirls and people magazines, support him.

How many understood what the Treasury just announced: a 4.1% decrease in GDP for 2009 ? how many, apart from those who are in that situation, realize that millions of people are losing jobs while Berlusconi’s TV makes millions ? how many understand his second wife who asks for a divorce instead of admiring the old guy who manages to be surrounded by young girls ?

Italy is for the birds. Berlusconi is here to remain. All what is left for me is to resist, to resist, to resist: the entire set-up will collapse with him. Let us be like a vulture: wait until the prey collapses…..

Symbols: Obama and Benedict XVI

When Reagan, Clinton and GW signed the law forbidding (or re-establishing) the financing for UNFPA and family planning NGOs that do not exclude abortion, they did so on the anniversary date of the Supreme Courts decision to legalize abortion in the USA.

Obama just overturned GW’s decision. But, although he did so on the third day after he took power, he avoided confronting the pro-life movement and avoided signing it on the same anniversary date. No need to add insult to injury.

Yesterday, Pope Benedict XVI reinstated the conservative bishops excommunicated by his predecessor for being appointed outside of the rules of the Church. One of the main principles of such bishops is the negation of the decisions of Vatican II.

Pope Benedict XVI did so on the day before the anniversary of the calling of the Vatican II by John XXIII. Just to ensure that people understand that he himself is going back 50 years. We knew this but he added insult to injury and just confirmed that he is driving the Church to self-destruction. Thank you Benedict XVI

Obama 2: Bravo

I am one of those who did not react to much at Obama’s election. Certainly I spent the night awake to follow the elections, certainly I welcomed the fact that the Democrats gained both houses and that the Republicans lost power.

But I am always doubtful about the Americans, their religious values, their conviction that they are the best and that their role is to lead the world.
So I was waiting to see what Obama would do.

Of couurse I welcomed the decisions taken on the first day and for imposing the return of the USA to the rule of law. But, as I said, all what he had done the first day, was normal, was nothing special. We all welcomed and praised Obama just for being a normal democrat.

However, after three days in power, I can only say Bravo.

Bravo of course for deciding to close Guantanamo.

Bravo for imposing what should be normal: the respect of the Geneva Convention.

Bravo for banning torture.

Bravo for taking immediately an initiative on the Middle East.

Bravo for re-establishing the funding to UNFPA and NGOs working for family planning, without excluding abortions.

Bravo for sending to the world a message of hope. And for showing since the first days in power that he is real and that he is more radical than he had to appear during the presidential election campaign.

Of course the opposition has started. And it will probably be stronger and stronger. Hopefully his supporters will not dump him.

Finally, after so long, a real leader, not an idiot like Berlusconi or Sarkozy or a criminal like Putin and Olmert.

As far as I am concerned, the solution of the Middle East crisis will be the issue for me to determine whether Obama may mean a new start for the world after so many years of regression. Wait and see.

Obama 1: let's get real

(this is the first of a series of articles I will devote to Obama’s election)

So Obama is President since two days.

He decided to close Guantanamo.
He decided to stop torture.
He decided to respect the Geneva Convention.
He called the President of the Palestinian authority before calling Olmert
He is concerned about peace in the Middle East.

And everybody is excited.

But why ? What did he do special ? Isn’t it normal what he did ?

He simply decided to respect the American Constitution and the International law.
He simply decided that it was time for America to be a “normal civilized state” as it used to make people believe it was..

So why are all people excited ? Simply because we got so used to crooks, idiots, dishonest politicians such as GW, Berlusconi, Sarkozy and even Blair.

I welcome the initiatives of Obama. But this does not mean that he is special. He is simply normal. And we, over the last years, we had lost the concept of normality.

Good start Obama, but it is not enough. Let us wait and see the next steps

IDIOTS VI

Italy is sinking into the worst crisis since WW2 and the Prime Minister Berlusconi, the richest man in Italy, says that one should remain optimistic: “the GDP is just going to be that of two years ago and we were not doing so bad then” (19 January 08)

Obama is being sworn in as US President and Sarkozy, jealous of the fact that people and the media talk only about the latter, says: “Obama and I will change the world”. I am sure Obama will appreciate….as he did Berlusconi’s comment about the color of his skin !

Obama's suntan ?

In the course of an interview on 11 November, at the question : “but you raised some polemics on the new US president”, Berlusconi answered:

“ Only in Italy the left could think that my joke could contain a racist component. In the USA nobody paid any attention to it (sic)…” (1)

One who does not know him could wonder whether he is real. Or his slaves hide the truth from him, the necked king.

A search on Google with the words : “Berlusconi Obama suntanned” gives 447,000 records.

A similar search with the words "Berlusconi Obama bronze" gives 176,000 records.

Difficult to imagine that the Italian left wrote all this in English and French.

The New York Times published at least two articles on lie and received more than 1500comments to one of them.

And, in an article dated November 12th (2) one can read: “(Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi of Italy is coming too, though his comment about Mr. Obama’s “suntan” may have kept him off the president-elect’s invite list anyway.) “

No, Berlusconi is not schizophrenic, he is like that every day: lying, lying, lying, denying what he said, saying “n’importe quoi”, using vulgar offensive language. And the situation is worsening with his popularity finally going down. He gets hysterical, he needs popularity and love.

And the fault of all this is of course the left and the public television : “every evening, during prime time, they mock me (N.B.very vulgar expression used in Italian….). This situation must end” (1). Such statement reminds many people about the Bulgarian edict of 2002 when he stated that two famous journalists, Santoro and Biagi, and one comic, Luzzatti, were making a criminal usage of television (by mocking him) and that the TV management had to put an end to such a situation. The three got eventually fired a few days later….A Noth Korean usage of television, this is what Berlusconi likes. Thus 63% of political airtime is givento him by his controlled televisions against 16% to the opposition.

It is time to stop laughing about him, the Italian democracy is in danger.

Berlusconi's primary racism

Poor Obama ! Berlusconi, that one who recently declared that W. is a great, sorry a very very great president, started already with his jokes on Obama.

Yesterday, during his first declaration, he stated that he has a lot of advice to give him, since he is much older. But he will talk to him when they meet.

Today, in Russia, he stated that Obama is "young, beutiful and even well tanned".

Later on he stated to jurnalists that his comment was "FLATTERING" and that people who did not understand his humour were idiots and should "fuck-off".

Primary racism, usual stupidities and platitudes of the man Italians re-elected. Between the two, it is clear that even the Americans are smarter than the Italians.

What is worse are the reactions of his allies: Calderoli (Norhern Ligues) stating that it was just a "joke" (sic!), or Mr Rotondi, a Minister, who stated that what berlusconi said "can be explained with a psycological theory according to which the basis for racism is the envy on the part of the white people for a skin with a more pleasant colour".

Primary racism accompanied by basic fundamental stupidity.

McCain or Obama ?

On the eve of the elections, I looked more attentively at interviews and statements made by people in the USA. From a lady who sends letters to the neighbours saying that if they vote Obama their hands will be full of the blood of abortions to the car dealer who makes the gift of a hand gun to whoever buys a new car and of a machine gun to SUV buyers. This same guy was stating that the Constitution talks about the right to hold guns and money, not about social security....And, if it were not tragic, I would laugh at the statements of all those people who are convinced that Obama is a socialist! Ignorance and stupid ideology dominating the republican voters.

I have seen how nasty the right can be when it loses power: in Italy, with a nasty opposition, in France with hysterical reactions when Mitterand took the Presidency, to Austria when it moved to a centre government.

And I can see how the right and the Christian coalition will react should Obama win. An instability outlook. And this in spite of the fact that Bush and his conservative allies have lead the country to an economic catastrophe, to endless wars it cannot win, to corruption at the highest level (the VP...) to wide spreading poverty.

So I wonder whether it would not be better for the world if, as an Al Qaida high level official stated, McCain wins. The decline of the USA will increase, finally the issue of the foreign debt will have to be resolved, Americans will consume what they have and not export their debt and the wars, Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, will be lost once forever.

Should Obama win, there will be so much internal fighting by the extreme right that he will be paralysed.

Better to let America continue to sink even deeper so that in a four years there can be a meaningful democratic government than to risk with a paralysed Obama.

So, let McCain win.....
