Last year, the Italian Prime Minister, married twice, divorced once, living in a separate house from his wife, diverted his flight to Napoli and waited for more than an hour before going to the 18th birthday party of Noemi, a young “friend”. More than one hour party….

Last week, he diverted his flight to land in Rome instead of Milan, and waited at the airport for the Pope who was to leave for a trip in Eastern Europe. He greeted him and accompanied him to the plane. A three minute show.

Indeed both the Pope and Noemi have gowns. Would this the main reason for Berlusconi’s travel plan changes ? Priorities are priorities....preferences are preferences.

No surprise, the Italian televisions, both private (his own) and public (controlled by his ministers) had a large coverage of the second, while they are cold on the first (it isnot "news" as stated the director, nominated by Berlusconi himslef, of the main public TV channel.

Berlusconi and al-Gaddafi

Indeed Berlusconi is very special even in the choice of his friends: GW, Putin, al-Gaddafi, escorts, well known Mafia members,....

Quite lonely in his choices, and possibly alone among the western "civilized" (but can Berlusconi's Italy still be called so ?) he will be in Libya for the 40th anniversary of the ascent to power of the Colonel.

Definitely, he will never learn from his other friend Sarkozy: had he followed the latter's example, instead of going to Tripoli he would have sent Noemi, his young friend, or one of his usual escorts. Sarko managed to get the Bulgarian nurses released by sending his former wife Cecilia, Berlusconi could have got some oil in exchange for Noemi.

Ten new questions to Mr. Berlusconi

1. When, Mr. Prime Minister, did you first meet Noemi Letizia? How many times have you met her and where? Have you frequented other minors and do you still do so?

2. What is the reason that compelled you to not tell the truth for two months, instead giving four different versions of your acquaintance with Noemi before making two belated admissions?

3. Don't you find it a serious matter, for Italian democracy and for your leadership, that you repaid the girls that call you "papi" with candidatures and promises of political responsibilities?

4. You stayed with a prostitute the night of November 4, 2008 and, according to judicial investigations dozens of "call girls" have been taken to your residences. Were you aware that they were prostitutes? If not, are you able to guarantee that those encounters haven't made you vulnerable, which is to say subject to blackmail, as demonstrated by the recordings of Patrizia D'Addario and the photos of Barbara Montereale?

5. Has is ever happened that "official government flights" without you aboard have been used to take female party guests to your residences?

6. Can you say without fear of contradiction that the people you keep company with haven't caused prejudice to affairs of State? Can you reassure the country and our allies that no female guest of yours possess arms of blackmail that scale down your political independence, domestic and international?

7. Your conduct contradicts your policies: today would you still be able to participate in Family Day or sign a law punishing the customer of a prostitute?

8. Do you still consider yourself eligible for the office of President of the Republic? If not, do you think that a person that common opinion considers unfit for the Quirinale can fulfil the duties of the Premier?

9. You have spoken of a "subversive plan" that threatens you. Can you guarantee not having used and not wanting to use intelligence and the police force against witnesses, magistrates and journalists?

10. In light of what has emerged in the last two months, what, Mr. Prime Minister, is your state of health?

These are the 10 questions the Italian Newspaper La Repubblica asked Mr. Berlusconi (and that have remained unanswered for 2 months) :

4 Why did you discuss candidates with Signor Letizia, who is not even a member of your party ?

7. Do you take interest in Noemi and her future, or support her family economically in any way ?
8. Is it true that you promised Noemi you would help her career in show business or in politics ?
9. Veronica Lario (Berlusconi's current wife) said that you frequent under-age girls. Do you meet any others or "bring them up"?
10. Your wife says that you are not well and that you "need help". What is the state of your health ?

One month silence on my blog. However, not because there weren’t new facts about my preferred politician, El Berlusca. On the contrary: too much I could not even read everything. His attendance to a party of a young girl who calls him “papi”, his lies about how he met her (4 different versions often supported by his “servants”), his wife asking for a divorce stating that “he is sick and goes out with minors”, the condemnation of one of his former lawyers for corruption (Berlusconi could not be judged thanks to a law he himself made to protect his own interests), pictures and tapes of his night with an “escort”, pictures of almost necked girls in his villa in Sardinia, pictures of girls on his private boat (duly escorted by the Carabinieri….), …..

All this already published on most international press, from the New York Times to the Financial Rimes, to El Pais etc.

And 10 questions to him, who consistently refuses to be interviewed by journalists who do not work for his company, still unanswered since 2 months. And 10 new questions….which will remain unanswered.

What to add to all what the press (only part of the Italian press, almost all international reference press) already reported ? Thus my silence.

Time however has come for me to start again, hoping that someone will start reading me again.
