Mr. Berlusconi just went to visit al-Gaddafi while all other leaders avoid him. He takes with him the Italian Air Force acrobatic team to please his host and have Italy contribute to the celebrations of al-Gaddafi’s ascent to power. And to make business….possibly also selling arms

Mr. Sarkozy is going soon to Brazil. He takes with him the French Air Force acrobatic team and a battalion of the Légion étrangère to celebrate the Brazilian National day. And to sell arms.

True, Sarko sent once his (now ex-) wife to pay a long courtesy call to al-Gaddafi. Unfortunately Berlusconi could only bring escorts. So he will get less.
