Idiots V

Pinocchio and Harry Potter in English or Hebrew can be read in Israel. Not in Arabic though, if the book is printed in a enemy country like Lebanon.

Hiding behind a rule of 1939 by the Brits, when Palestine was a British protectorate, the Ministry of Finance did forbid the import of such books since it would mean trading with the enemy. With all the problems Israel faces, this seems a priority issue indeed.
